Sticker prices explained: paper, glitter, holo, foil and gold

Stickers are a market inside the market: 3,074 of them in our catalogue right now, from ten-cent team logos to a single gold autograph listed at €5,500. Unlike skins, a sticker has no float and no wear ladder — its coordinates are the finish tier and the tournament it came from. Learn those two axes and sticker prices stop looking random.

The five finishes

The ladder mostly behaves: the shinier and rarer the pull, the higher the median. Paper is the baseline, Holo adds a rainbow layer, Foil roughly doubles Holo, and Gold sits on top. The one surprise is Glitter — the newest mass tier, dropped generously in recent capsules, and currently the cheapest way to put something sparkly on a weapon. Supply beats shine.

Gold is a lottery ticket, priced like one

Look at the Gold row again: the median is a modest €10.95, but the ninetieth percentile jumps to €316 — thirty times higher. No other tier stretches like that. The reason is what Gold means: the rarest pull of a capsule, usually a player autograph. A gold of a forgotten name stays near the median; a gold of a star player from a scarce capsule climbs into three and four digits. The tier sets the floor, the name sets the ceiling.

The legends are a supply story

The top of our sticker board is split between two eras. From the old world: Sticker | iBUYPOWER | Katowice 2014 at €5,068 and Sticker | Virtus.Pro (Holo) | Katowice 2014 at €4,982 — plain paper and holo, nothing fancy as objects. Their capsules vanished a decade ago, most copies were scraped onto skins and destroyed, and what survived became the blue-chip antiques of CS2.

From the new world: Sticker | beastik (Gold) | Cologne 2026 at €5,500 — proof that scarcity does not need a decade. A fresh gold autograph with tiny drop odds can outprice the antiques while its tournament is still in memory.

Charms: the younger sibling

Weapon charms are what stickers were years ago: a small young market — 81 items in our catalogue, median €1.43 — with a thin top end where Charm | Lil’ Boo already trades at €131. The pattern from stickers repeats: most charms are pocket money, a handful of favourites concentrate the value. Before you buy

• Price a sticker on two axes: finish tier first, then the specific name and tournament.
• Want shine on a budget? Glitter under a euro beats paper on looks and undercuts it on price.
• Remember that applying a sticker is one-way: scraping it off destroys it, so a crafted sticker is spent, not stored.
• Treat four-digit legends as collectibles with their own market — their prices follow scarcity and nostalgia, not the finish table above.
